Installed within the separator, the mains powered interceptor alarm system incorporates a 12mm high oil conductivity probe sensor. This sensor operates automatically, continuously monitoring the levels of oil, silt, and liquid within the separator. When these levels exceed acceptable thresholds, the alarm is triggered, activating either a claxon or a beacon. This audible or visual signal provides immediate notification of excessive liquid levels.

For remote and distant settings, the system can also transmit alert messages via text messages. The Solar Alarm removes the need for digging ducts and laying long cable runs, making installation efficient and cost effective.  The solar separator alarm alerts the user of a fault by means of a flashing amber xenon beacon or via mobile phone text messaging.

The control unit is capable of monitoring up to 6 probe units in 2 separator tanks (3 probes per tank), to automatically monitor oil, silt and liquid levels notifying immediately when the separator needs emptying and therefore eliminating unnecessary waste management visits.

If excessive levels are reached the alarm activates a claxon or beacon to provide an audible or visual notification of excessive liquid levels.  For more remote applications an alert can be transmitted by text message.

This unit is crafted to oversee the conditions of up to two oil/water separator tanks, monitoring the accumulation of oil, silt, or excessive liquid. Its GSM capability facilitates two-way communication, enabling the unit to send text messages to up to 8 designated users for notification.

The control unit operates autonomously, conducting checks on probe conditions and batteries every 15 minutes. Changes in probe conditions or low battery levels trigger text message alerts.
